Sunday at HB, registration

We have practice this Sunday at HB at 4 p.m. We have had great sessions lately, including a nice showing last weekend at HB. So please come on out if you have been waiting for a great playing opportunity.

Registration for fall will start with packets being out on Tuesday. The session will last through December.

Practice Weds at CSU

We have practice as scheduled at 7 p.m. at CSU. Please arrive on time as we will have good turnout and will need to maximize our pool time.

A note to new players:

To get to the pool, please enter through the PE Building (go up the huge steps in the old part of the building, not the shiny new rec center entrance) If you go in the rec center they may not know where to send you.

Then go down the stairs on the right, go through the doors and the locker room door is on the right.

If you are super lost, walk into the stands and shout at one of the speedo-clad guys. That's us.

NOTE: Practice times are likely to shift to Tuesday AND Thursday at CSU next. Sunday at HB will remain. Please email me if you have serious objections to this.

Sunday at HB, USA Men go for gold

We are on for Sunday at 4 p.m. at HB.

Team USA men are playing for gold against Hungary after knocking off Serbia 10-5 in their semifinal game. It was a rematch of a 4-2 loss for USA.

Sunday at HB is on, so is Weds at CSU

We play this weekend at HB at 4 p.m. Let's make up for missing Wednesday with good turnout.

Wednesday we will be back at CSU as confirmed by the pool management.

Notes about the Olympics:
Team USA Men play Croatia on Saturday, televised at 1 p.m. (someone please double check this for me)

USA is likely to qualify for quarterfinals, but the game is against a water polo powerhouse and would provide much needed momentum.

Also, the Olympics has generated significant interest from new players, new and experienced. Expect an influx of new people. Please welcome them and share your water polo knowledge.

PRACTICE CANCELED

I have not received word that we are able to use the pool this Wednesday, therefore practice tonight is canceled.

I apologize for the late notice. Please join us at HB on Sunday at 4 p.m.

You do not need to have water polo experience, but strong swimming ability (ability to swim 400 yards without stopping) is recommended.

Sunday at HB w/ Solon, Aug 9 signup

This Sunday, 8/3 Solon players will join us at HB. There should be plenty of guys for a scrimmage.
