COVID-19 Guidelines

 Guidelines For Return To Practice

The CWPC has adopted the Ohio Department of Health Mandates Policies for Contact Sports relative to COVID-19 which include the following:
  • Players, coaches, athletic trainers, and officials must conduct daily symptom assessments. Anyone experiencing symptoms must stay home.
  • Physical contact is only permitted within the rules of the game during competitive practice. Players, coaches, and officials are not to physically contact each other before or after competitive practice (i.e. greetings, team huddles, high-fives, congregating, etc.)
  • Six-feet social distance must be maintained between individuals at all times. Please remain 6ft away from the lifeguard stand at all times.
  • No congregating before or after practices or games is permitted.
  • Masks must be worn on the pool deck at all times but are not mandated in the water.
  • Come dressed to practice – there will be no locker rooms available except for the use of the toilets.
  • Keep in mind we are practicing at a High School and a Public Park.
  • You must have an up to date waiver submitted (via the website here) in order to participate in practices.
  • Should you test positive and are willing to share, we ask that you contact a board members so that we can notify the team of potential contact. We will do so anonymously.
  • For the safety of our team members, please do not attend any practices if you have recently and knowingly have come in contact with a person who is positive for COVID-19.
  • You MUST have your temperature taken by a board member PRIOR to jumping in the water at every practice. If you have a temperature of 100.4 or higher you will NOT be permitted to practice.

County Advisory Levels
CWPC will be following the Ohio Public Health Advisory System guidelines to determine if/when we should alter our practices. CWPC will continue to host practice and scrimmage while in Level 1 or 2. Should we move to Level 3 or 4 scrimmaging will case and we will look for instruction from our pools as to weather or not we will host practice.

Updated CWPC Liability Waivers
Please take a moment to review and sign our updated electronic waiver. We have added in additional verbiage to our membership waiver and require all participants to re-submit their signatures in order to practice. All members must re-sign the waiver no later than Tuesday, Sept 22nd, 2020.
