Registration form working

The registration form is working now here and on the sidebar. My apologies for the download difficulty. Please fill out and bring your check. Andrew will collect them.

This Sunday, 6/29 we will play at HB from 4 to 6 p.m. I anticipate good numbers, so please join us.

We will also play on Wednesday at CSU on July 2.

Solid Sunday practice, scrimmage again at CSU Weds.

Sunday at HB was very good with 12 in attendance, enough for a good scrimmage. We expect the same next weekend, so please join us.

This week on Wednesday at CSU we will again be inviting Solon Stars players. If we have high turnout like last week we will split teams into three and have a very fast paced rotation with the third team participating in drills in the shallow end.

Please arrive at CSU on time at 7:00 p.m. and be ready to assist the group in staying organized through drills.

Sunday scrimmage

Sunday we will scrimmage at HB from 4 to 6 p.m. We are also going to be discussing adjusting the time of HB practice, so please join us or email me with comments.

2008 Olympics buzz beginning

Ninth-ranked USA Men's Water Polo downed #1 ranked Croatia earlier this month as they work toward finalizing the Olympic roster. The game was aired on MSNBC, I caught part of it and saved what I could on DVR if you want to check out the last quarter of the game.

Registration, practice week of 6/16

We have practice Wednesday at CSU at 7 p.m. Sunday at HB is back on at 4 p.m.

Please show up on time and we will get more scrimmaging in. We have had good numbers several weeks in a row now.

Please note the cost covers pool time which CSU discounts for us to take the deep end. Also, some of you have gotten a few free practices in because we were slow to get forms out, so please abide by the honor system and get your form and check in to get us back on track.

Back to HB. I will be sending more emails. We should have more people at HB, it is a good time, we have a beautiful pool to ourselves.

Practice week of 6/9, scrimmages, news items

The plan for summer practices is to scrimmage every opportunity possible. Please join us. We know now that attendance is momentum-based, so please be a leader not a follower with your attendance decisions as your choice will influence others.

We practice at CSU on Wednesday at 7 p.m. and HB on Sunday at 4 p.m.

Other items:

• Registrations will restart for the summer, pricing is similar, grab a form on Wednesday, it will be posted at clevelandwaterpolo.com as well
• We are reevaluating home tournament plans after a weak response from teams, the likely date for home tourney is mid-September
• There is a Chicago tournament Aug 1-3 hosted by Apostles, a strong master's club based there. We can enter but I need 10 strong "I'm in" responses to enter us and begin coordinating arrangements. Please tell me your intentions ASAP.
