CMU Needs a Few
Carnegie Mellon let us know one team going to their tournament (not Akron) is short players. So if you want to jump in, it's a short drive to Pittsburgh. Email Kevin to get connected.
Tournament Roll Call
Thank you to A+ students Preetha and Kasi for replying to the tournament roll call. That leaves a lot of you out there. Let us know if you plan to play in any of these:
- March 24-25: Carnegie Mellon (Pittsburgh) - Akron is requesting a few players. CWPC not entered.
- March 31-April 1: Ohio State (Columbus) - They are looking for one more team.
- April 21-22: Cleveland Invitational (Cleveland State) - we have 7 of 8 team slots filled.
These past few weeks we have had various groups share our pool time to learn about polo. The club officers are very appreciative of the adult members who have provided one-on-one support to learning players and who have been flexible in allowing us to continue to introduce more players to the game as part of our overall mission to grow water polo in Northeast Ohio. We also appreciate the enthusiasm from new players and welcome them to our club. Our goal is to develop sustainable opportunities for new age-group level teams.
