CWPC joins Columbus to go 2-2 in Cincy

A contingent of seven CWPC players joined Columbus Masters to compete in the 5th Annual Nutty Invitational this past weekend at the University of Cincinnati.

The combined team finished 2-2. On Saturday the team opened with a lopsided win against the University of Kentucky and in the evening lost a hard fought game to 616 Masters (Grand Rapids, Mich.) with a score of 15-11.

On Sunday the team was routed by Navy's Blue, or "A" team by a score of 21-6. Afterward the Navy players went to the warmup area and swam at least another 1,000 yards. The final game Sunday was a win over a combined Akron/Dayton team.

Great job Preetha, Patrick, Carl, Chris, Maggie, Rick and Kevin (that's me).

Reminder: Practice at CSU resumes this Thursday, March 1 from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Parking is available in meters along Chester Ave. and in a metered garage under the rec center accessed going eastbound.

Please enter the pool area through the lower level of the P.E. Building (not the Rec Center main entrance) and through the doors near the lifeguard desk. Use the locker rooms nearest to the warm-up or enclosed pool area.

If this sounds confusing, send Kevin a note for extra info.
